Rochester Hills, MI – INCIDENT:  16:43 hrs. – Jan. 13, 2016 -City of Rochester Hills – Organized Retail Crime / Possession of Stolen Vehicle # 16-7171
SUMMARY:  Deputies responded to the Meijer store in the 3600 block of Marketplace Circle for a retail fraud in progress. The suspect had abandoned the merchandise and fled in a light colored vehicle. Deputies located the vehicle in the parking lot of the Walmart in the 2500 block of S. Adams.   As Deputies made contact with the driver of the vehicle, a male subject wearing a Detroit Lions knit hat was observed running out of the Walmart pushing a ctechadshopping cart full of items. The male matched the description given by Meijer loss prevention officer. 
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: A LEIN check revealed that the vehicle was stolen out of Ohio. Wal-Mart loss prevention confirmed that the shopping cart of groceries was stolen. Both individuals were taken into custody without incident. A Detective was called in to continue the investigation. The vehicle was impounded and both suspects were lodged at the Oakland County Jail pending charges.

S1- 25 year old male, resident of Sterling Heights, MI
S2- 24 year old male, resident of Lancaster, Ohio
