Suspected of Several Larcenies, Teen Tries Selling Stolen Property to PR Cop

Pleasant Ridge, MI – Rhyonn Lee Eggen was arraigned on Jan. 3, 2016 on several charges related to larcenies from buildings and vehicles.
His pre exam conference is scheduled in 45th District Court for 1 p.m. tomorrow (Thursday Jan 14th)
Official Statement from PRPD is as follows
“During November and December of 2015 the City of Pleasant Ridge experienced a number of home invasions, breaking and entering of garages, and larcenies from unlocked cars.
Pleasant Ridge Police have arrested the person responsible for committing these crimes. With the help of numerous law enforcement agencies, Pleasant Ridge Police arrested 19 year old Rhyonn Lee Eggen of Ferndale. Eggen, a former Pleasant Ridge resident, was arrested while trying to sell stolen items to an undercover officer. After his arrest, Eggen was found to be in possession of other stolen items.
Eggen was charged in 45th District Court on charges of 1st degree Home Invasion, Breaking and Entering with Intent, Larceny from Automobiles, and Larceny in Building. He was given a $25,000 cash or surety bond and is currently being held at the Oakland County Jail. Eggen is scheduled to be in 45th District Court this Thursday for a pre exam conference.
Pleasant Ridge would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the other law enforcement agencies that assisted in these cases, apprehending Eggen, and recovering the stolen property. Some of those assisting law enforcement agencies include Berkley Public Safety, Detroit Police, Ferndale Police, Fraser Public Safety, Michigan State Police, Oak Park Public Safety, and Royal Oak Police.”
