Dollar Robbed

Royal Oak Township, MI – Armed Robbery: On January 3, 2016, at approximately 6 50 AM, troopers from the Metro Post were dispatched and responded to an armed robbery in Royal Oak Township at the Family Dollar, 20735 Wyoming Ave. The armed robbery occurred at approximately 6 41 PM. The suspect is described as a 17-25y/o, 6’0”, dark skin black male with a thin build. The suspect was wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt (with the hood pulled over his head), black pants and wore a black mask that covered his mouth and nose. The suspect was carrying a semi-automatic pistol. The suspect made contact with store employees and was able to take the cash that was in the register, exited the store and fled north.
