Two Vacant Building Fires under Investigation in Pontiac
FROM DAY SHIFT: 1-2-2016, 07:00 hrs.
THROUGH MIDNIGHT SHIFT: 1-3-2016, 07:00 hrs.
INCIDENT: 15:39 hrs. – City of Pontiac – Structure Fire / OCSO Fire Investigations Unit Call-out – #16-798
SUMMARY:  Deputies were dispatched to the 200 block of Cesar Chavez assist the Waterford Regional Fire Department with a structure fire. Upon arrival, it was determined that the residence was unoccupied and reportedly an abandoned home.  Firefighters extinguished the blaze and the Fire Marshal at the scene requested an OCSO Fire Investigator to assist them with a cause and origin investigation. There were no reported injuries in this incident.  
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:  An OCSO Fire Investigator responded to the scene.  The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time and the fire is remains under investigation.

Upon arrival, it was determined that the residence was unoccupied and reportedly an abandoned home.  Firefighters extinguished the blaze and the Fire Marshal at the scene requested an OCSO Fire Investigator to assist them with a cause and origin investigation. There were no reported injuries in this incident.
