Homeless Man Found Dead on Pontiac Library Steps

Pontiac, MI – INCIDENT: 10:26 hrs. –Dec. 30, 2015 – City of Pontiac – Death Investigation – # 15-212016
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the 60 block of E. Pike (The Pontiac Library) on a welfare check. Deputies discovered an unresponsive male subject lying on the front steps of the library. The subject was not breathing. Star EMS responded and the subject was pronounced deceased on scene via a Physician from McLaren Oakland Hospital.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: Detectives responded to the scene to assist in the investigation. A Specialist from the OCSO Forensics Lab responded to process the scene. The Medical Examiner’s Office took custody of the deceased for an autopsy. The investigation continues.
DECEASED INFORMATION: 56 year old male, resident of Pontiac (homeless)
