Como’s Liquor License Reinstated

Ferndale, MI – After a state-mandated break from selling booze, Como’s restaurant has gotten their liquor license reinstated.
The restaurant, located at the corner of 9 Mile and Woodward, had gotten into hot water after serving alcohol to a 19-year-old in a test by police, and failing to pay fines.
Police were ordered by the state Liquor Control Commission to confiscate the license and post a notice on the door of the business.  This happened on Wednesday, just before Christmas.  The notice indicated a 50-day suspension.
Como’s owner George Grego drove to Lansing in person on Monday, paid the fines and got the license reinstated according to The Detroit Free Press.
