Oakland County, MI – Calling all college students, senior citizens, high school students age 16 and older, and adults who enjoy working outdoors! Now is the time to start thinking about 2016 summer employment opportunities at Oakland County Parks.*

Applications are currently being accepted for the following summer positions: Seasonal Program Specialist, Parks & Recreation Program Leader, Parks Helper, Lifeguard, Food Service Worker, Parks & Recreation Attendant and Seasonal Laborer.

Seasonal employees work varied shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays from NewWay_Jazz_TuesdaysMemorial Day through Labor Day. Work locations include campgrounds, dog parks, day-use facilities, nature centers, golf courses and waterparks. Flexible schedules are available and training is offered for all positions.

*Summer positions for the Parks and Recreation Department will be posted 12/04/15. All other summer positions for the 2016 season will be posted in February. Hiring for summer positions will begin in spring of 2016.
