Previous report:
At about 8:10 last night [Dec. 3, 2015], Ferndale Police responded to a report of a man shot near Hazelhurst / Wanda. Upon arrival, they found a 20 year old man and 20 year old woman who were victims of an apparent robbery attempt. The man had been shot in the face (apparently two times). The victims live in the neighborhood. They claimed to be sitting in their vehicle when they were approached by two RustBeltAd01b/m’s in their 20’s, each carrying handguns. The assailants pointed guns at the victims, and one of the suspects began shooting. The assailants then retreated, while the one continued firing his gun. The female victim said she thought the two men were going to rob her and her boyfriend, and the one suspect may have accidentally shot her boyfriend, panicked, and continued shooting while retreating.
