Farmington Hills, MI – The Farmington Hills Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for stealing a Salvation Army donation kettle this afternoon. The theft occurred outside the Walgreens located at 27750 Grand River (near Eight Mile) at approximately 4:45 PM. A witness observed the suspect take the donation kettle, including the stand, and walk away from the scene. The theft occurred as the Salvation Army volunteer bell ringer stepped inside the business for a brief moment. The stand was Sahara ad with winelater located behind an area business. However, the kettle and an unknown amount of money were removed by the suspect and not recovered.
