Help Rename the Birmingham Historical Museum and Park

BIRMINGHAM, MI – The Birmingham Historical Museum and Park is asking for the community’s help as they consider a new name.
Museums throughout the country are changing with the times to incorporate new approaches and to engage with the public.
These changes are an important objective of the Birmingham Historical Museum and Parks’s Strategic Plan. As they review their mission and their name, the Museum has invited the community to submit feedback via a short survey.
Potential names include:
~The Birmingham Museum
~The Museum of Birmingham
~Birmingham Museum & Archives
~The Birmingham Cultural Museum
~The Birmingham Heritage Center
The survey was developed by the City of Birmingham’s Museum Board   and can be taken anonymously online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/28JX988.
Residents, visitors, business owners, employees and more are encouraged to vote. All opinions are valued and will help to make the museum the best it can be. All responses must be submitted by Thursday, December 31st.
