Waterford, MI – On Dec. 4 Waterford Regional Firefighters were able to quickly put out a blaze that destroyed one room of a house in the 26000 block of Landsdowne on Dec. 4. The cause of the fire remains under investigation according to a brief in The Oakland Press. The report says the fire was at about 3:45pm.
Rob Bartlett posted video of the fire to his You Tube page, showing the dangerous flames and the firefighters dousing them with water.
“The response was FAST,” Bartlett said. “The whole scenario was done within minutes. This footage caught the meat of the situation. Home resident used a fire extinguisher, small one but used non the less and left the door wall open. The truck arrived right when the extinguisher was emptied. The firefighter in video walked up and took care of business within minutes. Text book effort by the department I say with rapid response.”
