Mysterious Caller Claims to be IRS Agent, Makes Bomb Threat

INCIDENT:  15:34 Hrs. – Nov. 24, 2015 – Orion Township – Bomb Threat / K-9 Assist. #15-192278
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the 2200 block of Geyer Court for a bomb threat.  The victim reported that he had been at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills when he received a call from a person claiming to be with the IRS.  The victim did not provide any information to the alleged IRS Agent.  The alleged IRS Agent told the victim that there was a bomb at his house and that it was going to explode.  The alleged IRS Agent provided the victim an address where the bomb was located.  The address is a former address of the victim.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:    A Deputy responded to Crittenton Hospital and met with the victim. An OCSO K-9 was dispatched to the residence in Orion Township.  The K-9 did not locate anything in or around the house.  Additionally, the K-9 searched the current residence of the victim.  The search at this location was negative.  The investigation continues.
