Join us on Saturday, December 12 at 3:00 pm in the Friends Auditorium as we welcome back the Silver Strings Dulcimer Society, as they take us back to when life was much simpler and music filled the air to the delight of young and old alike. The Silver Strings group is beginning their 32nd year of playing “Old Time Music,” featuring the Hammered Dulcimer in addition to the guitar, banjo, fiddle, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, penny whistle, autoharp, harmonica, and bass fiddle. Enjoy listening to a variety of traditional music, including Irish jigs and reels, Celtic music, waltzes, polkas, and even some standard holiday music to celebrate the season.
