JCC Book Club: Judy Blume’s “In the Unlikely Event” Dec. 9

The Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit’s Henry & Delia Meyers Library and Media Center will hold its next book club, focusing on Judy Blume’s “In the Unlikely Event,” at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 9. The book tells the story of a woman who returns to her hometown in New Jersey to attend a commemoration of the terrible year when a succession of airplanes fell from the sky.
The book club is free and open to the community, but reservations are requested to Francine Menken at (248) 432-5546 or fmenken@jccdet.org.
The library is located in the lower level of the JCC, 6600 W. Maple Road in West Bloomfield.
