Historical Preservation Themed Planners Gathering, In a Calf Barn Setting Dec. 4

As a 2015 Barn of the Year, designated as such by the Michigan Barn Preservation Network, the 1927 Calf Barn at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm offers much to consider for those with an interest in preserving the past for the future.  The Calf Barn will be both the topic and the venue at the December 4 Planners Gathering, allowing attendees to experience the transformation first hand and learn project details directly from the person in charge  – Museum Supervisor Pat McKay.  A tour of the 16 acre farm and other historical structures on the property – all dressed up for the holidays – are also part of the day’s activities.
