Berkley/Huntington Woods Youth Assistance is holding their first ever Snowman Shuffle 5K & Family Fun Run on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Hurley Field in Berkley,
Michigan. Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome to attend the event which is being hosted to raise funds to support Berkley School District youth by providing summer camp scholarships, skill‐building opportunities and family education programs.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the Fun Run on the track at Hurley Field beginning at 9:30 a.m. and the 5k through Berkley neighborhood streets beginning at 10 a.m.
Registrants are welcome to participate in the Fun Run, 5K or both events included with their registration fee. Registration cost is $25 for age 18 + and $15 under age 17. Registrations received by November 22 will include a free t‐shirt.
Participants are able to register online by visiting www.snowmanshuffle.com. Awards will be presented in various categories at 12:15 p.m. at Mr. J’s located at 2859 Coolidge Highway in Berkley. A post‐race raffle will be held following the presentation of awards.
