Pontiac: Video Shows Man Wanted for Robbery and Attempted Murder (Graphic Language & Actions)

INCIDENT: 11:12 hrs. – City of Pontiac – Armed Robbery & Attempt Murder- #15-184611
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the 400 block of North Perry (Bob and Elmer’s Bar aka B&E’s Bar) for an armed robbery that had just occurred. Deputies arrived at the scene and met with the victim, who is the manager of the bar. The victim stated that she had been sitting in the back office when she observed the black male enter the bar. The suspect walked to the office area and forced his way in. The suspect pointed a handgun at the victim and ordered her to open the safe. He pulled the trigger twice but the gun misfired. The suspect then entered the open safe, took approximately $1200 and fled out the front door.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: A K-9 unit responded to the scene, established a track, but was the track was lost a distance away. The investigation continues.
SUSPECT INFORMATION: Light Skin Black male, appears to have a beard, mid 30’s, wearing a green “North Face” jacket.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in the video link and information is also updated below. Anyone with information can call 1-888-TURN-1-IN.   There is a cash reward.
