Holly Truck Driver Dead After Crashing into Construction Vehicle on I275

Fatal Traffic Crash: On November 12, 2015 at approximately 2 00 PM troopers were dispatched to I 275 southbound just south of Michigan Avenue in Canton Township for a fatal   crash. Upon arrival troopers determined that a semi tanker truck(empty) was traveling in the   right lane and passed a Wayne County road commission truck that was on the shoulder with its   arrow board activated.
The semi driver continued in the right lane and struck the rear of a   second Wayne County Road Commission vehicle that was stopped in the right lane with its   arrow board activated. The driver of the semi-truck was killed instantly. The driver of the road   commission truck was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.   Semi Driver: JOHN MARK SAKOFSKE, 37 year old male from Holly, MI Next of Kin notified.
