Farmington Hills: Suspected Drunk Driver Crashes into Police Car

DUI Traffic Crash: On November 8, 2015 at approximately 3 05 AM, Troopers assigned to the Metro Post had just completed a traffic stop on the shoulder of westbound I 696 east of   Orchard Lake Road in Farmington Hills when the driver of a 2009 Jaguar drifted out of the travel   lanes and struck the rear of the patrol car. The driver, 33 years old from Farmington, was given   Field Sobriety tests, arrested and processed at the Metro Post. He was lodged at the Oakland   County Jail. There were minor injuries to both troopers. They were treated and released from a   local hospital.
