Assaulted, Robbed, Left Tied in Kitchen

THROUGH MIDNIGHT SHIFT: 11-08-2015, 07:00 hrs.
INCIDENT: 1545 hrs. City of Pontiac-Robbery// UDAA 15-182486
SUMMARY: Deputies were dispatched to the 60 block of W. Colgate for a report of a robbery. Upon arrival deputies located two victims (brother and sister) who stated that they had been assaulted and robbed by a male they had recently let stay in their house. The suspect assaulted both victims and tied them up to chairs in the kitchen. The male took the victims cell phones, house phone, and left in the victim’s vehicle. The victims worked their way out of the ropes and went to a neighbor’s house to call 911. The victims sustained non-life threatening injuries to their faces and wrists. The victims were treated by STAR EMS at the scene.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: Substation and Auto Theft Detectives responded to begin their investigation. The suspect’s phone was pinged to an address in Ferndale.

Suspect: 49 year old male resident of Pontiac.
Victim: 68 year old female resident of Pontiac.
Victim: 57 year old male resident of Pontiac.
