One Church Broken into and
Another Attempt in Orion Township

FROM DAY SHIFT: 11-07-2015, 07:00 hrs.
THROUGH MIDNIGHT SHIFT: 11-08-2015, 07:00 hrs.
INCIDENT: 07:45 hrs. – Orion Township –Breaking and Entering Commercial # 15-182184
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the 900 block Lapeer Road New Beginnings Baptist Church for a breaking & entering. Deputies meet the complainant who stated that between 9 p.m. on 11/6 and this morning, someone had broken out the rear window of the church and gained entry. The suspects had broken into rooms by prying doors and cabinet’s open. There was unknown amount of money taken from the church.
ADDED INFORMATION: On November 6, 2015 at 9:05 p.m. Deputies responded to a burglary alarm located in the 3500 block of Joslyn Road (Bethany Pentecost Tabernacle Church). Deputies conducted a perimeter check and located a door in the rear that had been damaged by a pry bar but, entry was not gained. Extra patrols are being conducted #15-181982
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: An Evidence Technician responded and processed both scenes. Both incidents remain under investigation.
