Oven Warming Party at new Potbelly’s Sandwich Shop to benefit homeless dogs and cats
The newest Potbelly Sandwich Shop officially opens in Bloomfield Township on Tuesday, Nov. 17, but don’t miss the Oven Warming Party the day before.
Potbelly Sandwich Shop will raise money for the Michigan Pet Fund Alliance (MPFA) at the Oven Warming fundraiser on Monday, Nov. 16.
For a $5 cash donation per person to the charity, diners will be treated to a Potbelly Sandwich Shop signature sandwich, a bag of chips and a fountain drink.
Come and bring your friends from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. to 2108 S. Telegraph Road, north of Square Lake Road, in Bloomfield Township.
MPFA is the only organization in the state dedicated to ending the killing of healthy and treatable homeless cats and dog in Michigan by educating and advocating for the nationally recognized No Kill model, which has been proven to save more than 90% of these companion animals.
“We are very grateful to Potbelly Sandwich Shop and its General Manager Michael Wilson for this opportunity,” said Deborah Schutt, chair of MPFA. “All the money raised at the Oven Warming will go to our affiliated rescue organizations to help pay veterinary bills for older dogs and cats and those with special needs pulled from shelters where they might have been killed.”
Find out more about MPFA online at michiganpetfund.org, like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter.
