Holly: Fire on Partridge Court Likely Caused by Generator

INCIDENT: 21:08 hrs. – Village of Holly – Residential Structure Fire – OCSO Fire Investigations Unit Assist   #15-174350
FROM DAY SHIFT:  10-24-2015
THROUGH MIDNIGHT SHIFT:  10-25-2015
SUMMARY:  The Sheriff’s Office Operations Center received a request for assistance from the Village of Holly Fire Department.  Their Fire Department responded to a report of a residential structure fire in the 800 block of Partridge Court.  The fire was extinguished and no injuries were reported.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:   The Holly Village Fire Chief who was on the scene requested the assistance of the OCSO Fire Investigations Unit.  A Detective was notified and responded for a cause and origin investigation.  The initial investigation indicates that the fire was accidental in nature, when a generator running on the back deck of the residence caught fire. Any further information to come from the Holly FD.
