Josh Levine was not a drug addict, an alcoholic or a habitual drug user. He was a 22 year old man, living in Chicago, beginning to pursue his dream of becoming a teacher, when his life ended last July from snorting Adderall and drinking alcohol—a commonplace occurrence among young adults.
His mother, Julie Buckner, will speak about her unforgettable nightmare and her campaign to POWELLad_01bring about awareness   of the increasing risk of recreational drugs and alcohol use among youth.
The Tri-Community Coalition, a substance abuse prevention non-profit for Berkley, Huntington Woods   and Oak Park will present, “It’s Fun Until…….” On Tuesday, November 10 at 7:30 p.m. in the Berkley High School Auditorium located at 2325 Catalpa in Berkley. Light refreshments will be served.
