Planning Begins for Clawson
Tick or Treat Trail Oct. 25
(event listing)
It’s time to begin planning for our annual Trick or Treat Trail in Clawson Park on Sunday, October 25th, 6:00 pm- 7:30 pm. Children, with their parents, trick or treat around the wood chip trail in the park. This is a great marketing opportunity for you by becoming a sponsor. Historically, we have about fifteen hundred children attending this event. Sponsors are assigned an area on the wood chip trail to decorate and hand out candy. Some businesses have simply handed out candy while dressed in costume, while other businesses decorate with Halloween props. The trail ends at the city pavilion with cider and donuts. Due to the high volume of participants this year we will offer three entrances to the trail.
Would you consider becoming part of the Trick or Treat Trail? The cost is your time and candy purchased. If you are unable to commit to the Oct 25th day and time, a monetary donation, which will be used for cider and donuts, is gratefully accepted. Your name will be on flyers sent to schools, posted on flyers displayed in prominent areas, and viewed on the municipal cable channel. Set up for the trail will begin at 3:00 pm. Plan on arriving at the park no later than 5:00 pm for your assigned spot on the trail.
