Ferndale/Detroit: Blumz Boss Wins Mayesh Design Star Competition

Jerome Raska is ready for his close up. The co-owner of Blumz by JRDesigns Floral & Event Professionals is looking forward to the limelight after being selected as one of only two Mayesh Design Stars for 2016.
Mayesh is known throughout the floral industry as one of the highest quality floral providers. They have 18 stores in 8 states and distribute florals to retailers across the world. Each year florists compete for the chance to be featured for a year on the Meyesh website. Raska will be working closely with the company to shoot exclusive videos that will be featured on Blumz.com, Mayesh.com and on social media.
Blumz has a locations in Detroit and Ferndale, offering many products and services for those who want to add beauty to their lives. “We specialize in unique floral designs and wedding and event planning. We are a one-stop shop that includes a gift store, tuxedo rental, tenting, lighting, officiant services, day of coordination, invitations, chocolates, and more,” boasts the Blumz website. “The Ferndale store also features an event space for lease that is suitable for birthdays, networking events, showers, anniversaries and more with seating for up to 80 and a full service kitchen.”
Also chosen was Shawn Michael Foley of PropHouse Birmingham, AL. “From Vintage Sofas, Terrariums, Teapots & Antlers to Aged Frames, Crystal Garlands and Candelabras, PROPHOUSE has an ever expanding collection of hand-picked curiosities available to make even the most creative minds come alive. Servicing all brides, photographers, bloggers, corporate clients and more with prop rentals as well as styling and suggestion,” describes their website.
