Flowers are known to bring joy to a room, person, or occasion. They add decorative color and ambiance to most any occasion from commemorative to festive. And, with holidays around the corner, a few floral arrangements just might add the final preparatory touch to a well-planned celebration. The Oak Park Arts and Cultural Commission, or OPAACC, is inviting the public, age 8 and above, to a wonderful flower arrangement demonstration on Saturday, October 10, 2015, from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the Oak Park Community Center. Sharon Rome of Rose of Sharon Florist will create two floral arrangements made from the season’s finest flowers and foliage. The event is free, but donations are welcome. Come join us!
