unityTOPinprogressJewel_01Bomb Squad and K-9 NewWay_Jazz_TuesdaysRespond to Suspicious Package at Palace of Auburn Hills

(Auburn Hills Police, Sept. 14, 2015)

A suspicious package was found at the Palace of Auburn Hills around 10:50am. Auburn Hills Police and Fire departments immediately responded. The building was evacuated as a seed01_bridget and kevin deegan krauseprecaution. Michigan State Police Bomb Squad and Oakland County Sheriffs Dept. K-9 responded.

As the building was being evacuated a contractor claimed the package. The package was determined to be a homemade battery charger.

The Palace has resumed normal operations.

This is a good example for someone seeing something and saying something that was suspicious/out of place.

There will be no criminal charges.
