Troy Bank Robbery Suspect
May Have Struck Twice

On September 10, 2015 at approximately 1115 AM, the TCF Bank at 2138 E. Big Beaver, Troy was robbed. The suspect, a white male in his 40s, entered the bank and demanded money. A weapon was implied but not seen. No one was injured in the incident and the suspect was not apprehended.
The suspect is further described as wearing a black ball cap with tape over the logo, grey hooded sweatshirt with black tape over the chest logo, and gray pants with possible black loafer shoes. The suspect is believed to be 5’9 to 5’11, medium build and possibly with brown hair. The suspect had an unknown type of dust or debris on his hat.
Investigators believe that the suspect in today’s incident may have also been responsible for a bank robbery that occurred at TCF Bank at 1484 Coolidge, Troy at 1100 AM on Thursday, April 16, 2015. During that incident, the suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, stonewashed denim jeans and brown shoes. The suspect’s coat was covered with an unknown type of dust or debris, similar to the substance on the suspect’s hat today.
