waterworkTOP_whiteInterview: Andrew Sarpolis , sidebar01sponsorCandidate for Novi City Council Partial Term 2015 (video)

(C. Proxmire, Sept. 6, 2015)

Andrew Sarpolis is one of two candidates running for an open partial term seat on the Novi City Council. The two-year term was originally held by Justin Fischer who had to step down when his work transferred him out of the area.

The election is Nov. 3, 2015 and Sarpolis is going up against Brian G. Burk. Voters in Novi will also have options for Mayor and for a full-term City Council seat.

Sarpolis shared his views about what Novi needs moving forward, particularly in the areas of chazzano game adthoughtful development, respect for the natural beauty and environment Novi has, and the need to be careful when considering tax abatements.

Though he has never run for office, Sarpolis has been active in the community and in environmental defense through his job at Sierra Club. He is currently on the Beautification Commission and helped implement a $12,000 grant program to improve neighborhood entryways.

The Oakland County 115 News invites all candidates to be interviewed. Here is information on the interview process: http://oaklandcounty115.com/2015/08/28/information-for-candidates-interviews-ads-and-more/.
