A Wild Cause
Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo raises funds to purchase equipment for the Ruth Roby Glancy Animal Health Complex and veterinary care for the Detroit Zoo animals. Your help is needed to ensure that the Zoo animals receive the care they need to stay healthy. So whether you like to run or walk, support the Detroit Zoo and Run Wild with us!
If your friends or family want to support our cause but can’t make it to the race, or if they simply want to cheer you on as you help out a worthy organization, it’s now possible for them to sponsor you for the event. The money will go toward taking care of the Zoo animals – the next best thing to running in the race.
Each individual who raises $150 or more will receive a Detroit Zoo plush and water bottle. The three individuals raising the most funds will receive a special Run Wild for the Detroit Zoo gift pack, including four tickets for a day at the Zoo.
Race entry fees will not be counted toward awards and should be sent as a separate payment.
