(event listing)
For almost a year, Farmington Voice has brought you stories about the people, events, and activities that make the communities of Farmington and Farmington Hills great places to live.
On September 30, we’re turning the tables, with an event that allows some of our readers to share their own stories. “Farmington Voices: Resilience” starts at 7 p.m. in the Old Winery/Powerhouse building, 31505 Grand River, featuring stories from people who live and Red Door Realty Ad _own_your_dreamwork in Farmington and Farmington Hills.
A portion of the proceeds from this event will support Farmington/Farmington Hills Neighborhood House and Operation Common Good, local charities that help families and children in need. Attendees are also encouraged to bring donations of personal hygiene items (deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, etc.) for Neighborhood House.
Tickets are $20 in advance. Seating is limited. To purchase a ticket online, visit farmingtonvoices1.eventbrite.ca. To save the ticketing fee, send a check or money order to Farmington Voice, Inc., 33414 Oakland #2, Farmington MI 48335. For more information, call 248-568-0581 or write joni@farmingtonvoice.com.
