Funeral and Fundraising Site Set for Fallen State Trooper Chad Wolf

In the days following the death of Michigan State Trooper Chad Wolf, loved ones have been making preparations for the funeral on Sept. 1. A page has also been set up for donations for the family. Thus far over $45,000 has been raised.
The obituary from Sharp’s Funeral Home reads “WOLF, Trooper Chad Harlan — Age 38, of Fenton, died August 28, 2015 at Genesys Health Park from injuries sustained while patrolling on motorcycle.
Funeral services will be held 1PM Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Fenton High School Gymnasium, 3200 W. Shiawassee Ave., Fenton with Pastor Tigg Vanaman officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Linden.
Visitation will be held 5-9PM Sunday, and 2-5 PM and 7-9PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make contributions to the Chad H. Wolf Memorial Fund.
Chad was born May 12, 1977 in Geneseo, IL, the son of Lyle K. and Karen C. (Randan) Wolf and graduated from Annawan High School in Annawan, IL. Chad received a bachelor degree from Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, FL. He was very involved member of Great Lakes Baptist Church where he served as a youth leader. Chad had served with the Michigan State Police since 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Erin; four children, Autumn, Mikah, Korbin, and Koltin; parents, Lyle and Karen Wolf of IL; two brothers, William (Suzanne) Passalaqua of IL and Kent Wolf of NY; sister, Amanda E. Wolf of IL; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Helen Blair of Ortonville. He is preceded in death by his father in law, Ray Blair.
