Instructor: Sgt. Scott Schuelke (Ret. Lansing Police Department), Autism Safety Specialist, Autism Alliance of Michigan

Course Objectives:

Participants will expand their knowledge of autism and autistic behaviors, and increase their recognition skills of persons with autism. They will acquire information and tips on how to royal_serviceseffectively interact with individuals with autism, their families, and care providers. Participants will learn community outreach strategies that will increase support and safety of those with autism. Training is geared toward police, fire/rescue, and EMS.

Approved for MCOLES continuing education credits
