After four years of serving as Mayor of Oak Park, Marian McClellan is running for re-election.
Mayor McClellan is being challenged by resident Aaron Tobin.
McClellan spoke with the oc115 about the accomplishments made in the past few years, including improvements in code enforcement, successful economic development efforts, the revival of commissions and events, and taking Oak Park from being on the State’s watch list for emergency management to a place with stability and improved services for residents. She also talked about what she likes about her job as mayor and what she loves about the city.
