Interview: Aaron Tobin, Candidate for Mayor of Oak Park (video)
(C. Proxmire, Aug. 20, 2015)
Aaron Tobin, a resident of Oak Park for 18 years and a native of Southfield, is running for Mayor in the Nov. 3, 2015 election. He recently sold his automotive parts production business and now is a firearms instructor and a photographer.
Tobin is running against current Mayor Marian McClellan who is seeking her third term.
Tobin spoke with the oc115 about changes he’d like to see, including a change to the Oak Park Zip Code boundaries, more traffic-slowing changes to the roads, going to court with the County or the State to remove the charges for the Kuhn Drain from residents’ water bills, and the construction of a concert amphitheater between City Hall and the Library.
Current Mayor Marian McClellan did an interview as well. Check it out at https://oaklandcounty115.com/2015/08/20/interview-mayor-marian-mcclellan-running-for-re-election-in-oak-park/.
