Bloomfield Hills Police Fatally Shoot Suspect After Chase

A man is dead after a police chase that started around midnight Wednesday. According to WWJ the suspect was involved in an accident near 12 Mile and Mound, then fled through Oakland County.

Troy Police attempted to stop the suspect I-75, but police say he shot at the patrol car. He eventually crashed at Woodward and Square Lake Road, then fled on foot. Police say as officers closed in, the man pointed a gun at them. Police then fatally shot him.
