76 Year Old Charged with Stealing Produce in Troy

Kroger, 3125 John R Road, 8/18/2015, 3:30 PM:
A store employee was notified by a customer that another customer was concealing store merchandise for sale in her purse. The subject, later identified as a 76 year old female from Troy, was located in the store and found to have already completed a purchase of store items she bought.
The store manager asked if there was anything else she wanted to pay for, she opened her purse, revealing the concealed store produce.
She had passed the attended cash register and made no attempt to pay for the $39.71 worth of concealed items.
Responding officers issued her a Misdemeanor Citation for Retail Fraud -2nd Degree. 15-27078
