Big Rig Gig a Blast for Kids in

When you’re little and the world seems big, an event like the Big Rig Gig in Orion Township can seem extra impressive. Friendship Park was full of big toys for youngsters and adults to explore on Friday, 
including the Beaumont One helicopter which flew in, and the hot air balloon from Sky Adventures which flew out.
People could give a donation and smash an old car. Safety goggles were required to participate.
Event organizer Jennifer Vezina said over 700 families came to the event, and that every year it gets bigger. After checking out police, fire and DPW vehicles, families enjoyed an outdoor movie on the big screen. Of course it fit the theme: Big Hero 6.
