William “Bill” White said now that his kids are taking over the family business, he’s looking to get involved in the community and help keep Ferndale the way it is. That’s why he’s decided to throw his hat in the ring for a seat on Ferndale City Council.
White is one of three candidates running for two seats. Incumbent Councilperson Daniel Martin 934_8600_Gen-Online_Banners4is running for another term and Raylon Leaks-May is also on the ballot. Leaks-May currently serves on the Ferndale School Board.
Mayor Dave Coulter is also up for re-election, but he is unopposed. Councilperson Mike Lennon decided not to seek another term.
This is White’s first time running for office. Check out the interview below to learn more about White and his decision to run.
