God is Raising Devoted Ladies 
for Excellence Family Fun Day Fundraiser Aug. 22

GIRDLE has scheduled a fundraiser on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Pontiac Pavilion, 60 E Pike next to the Pontiac Library . This fundraiser will be a Family Fun Day for all ages. Tickets are $6.00 and includes: hamburger or hot dog, corn on the cob, baked beans and drink. We have also arranged for Home Depot kids workshop to be on site to assist children and parents in 
building a project, face painting, Adventures of Tuffy the Turtle, and more. If possible can you include this event in your next newsletter.
This fundraiser is to support our free support groups, Chat & Chew. Our support groups focus on women issues and provide a meal for participants. We are currently hosting our Chat & Chew at Carriage Circle Apartments in Pontiac. In October our services will be extended to Arborview Village Apartments in Pontiac. The support group is open to women ages 12 and over. Thirty women participate in our group at Carriage Circle every other month on the 3rd Saturday at 1pm. Our next meeting at Carriage Circle Apartments is September 19. We will begin services at Arborview Village Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 1pm.
