Any K is OK! FernCare Clinic Fun Run & Walk
FernCare Free Clinic is hosting a 5K, 2K and 1/2K run and walk on Sunday, August 30, starting at 11 am.

The run/walk will be held on the east side of Woodward in Ferndale with the start and end of the run or walk at Woodward and E. Nine Mile Road.
The 5K and 2K are on paved streets. The 1/2K walk begins at FernCare and is all sidewalk.
Registration is $25 per runner or walker through August 14 and $30 after with no guarantee of a t-shirt. ALL FernCare patients register at the clinic and their cost is $5.00.
People can register on August 30 beginning at 9:30 at Woodward/E. Nine Mile Road.
Besides being a fund raiser for the clinic, it is also one of FernCare’s efforts to encourage everyone to get out and move about.
Runners and walkers are encouraged to bring their children. Children up to age 15 run and walk free as long as they are accompanied by adults.
FernCare Free Clinic provides medical services to people between the ages of 19 through 64 who have no health insurance and no primary care provider. Patients must have a valid ID. The clinic is community created and serves people from Ferndale and surrounding communities.
