INCIDENT:  02:33 hrs. – City of Pontiac – Unknown Trouble / Injured Person / OCSO Forensic Lab Assist #15-104631
SUMMARY:  Deputies responded to an address in the 500 block of Brooks Ave on a report of an unknown trouble.  Initial reports were that a subject had been stabbed at that location.  Deputies discovered a large amount of blood at the scene and found another subject attempting to subdue him.  Additional information was received that indicated that the victim may have stabbed himself.  Deputies secured the scene and identified several subjects who may 934_8600_Gen-Online_Banners4have information regarding the listed circumstances.  These subjects were transported back to the Pontiac Substation to be interviewed.  An additional potential witness was located in Orion Township and was also transported back to the Pontiac Substation to be interviewed.
During the process of clearing the scene, deputies discovered a marijuana grow operation in the basement of the residence.  Deputies secured the scene and detectives were notified to respond.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT:  Deputies rendered aid to the victim until STAR EMS arrived to continue medical treatment.  The victim was transported to McLaren Hospital – Oakland for further medical care.  Detectives responded to the scene and a search warrant was obtained CFSEM-123-OaklandCounty115-digital-ad_v2for the residence.  The OCSO Forensic Lab was also requested and was notified to respond and process the scene.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:  During their investigation, detectives have ascertained that the victim may have ingested a large quantity of a hallucinogenic drug.  The victim’s wound may have been self-inflicted.  The victim is currently listed in guarded condition.  The incident remains under investigation.
VICTIM:  20 year old male; resident of the City of Pontiac.
