Eighth Life Saved with Narcan

INCIDENT: 02:19 hrs. – July 3 – City of Pontiac -Overdose- Narcan Administered #15-103981
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the 300 block of Central Ave. for the report of a possible Heroin overdose. Deputies arrived before EMS personnel and found the victim unresponsive. Deputies quickly determined that the victim had overdosed. A deputy administered the Narcan and the victim responded. Star EMS arrived and took over treatment. The victim was transported to McLaren E. R. for further treatment.
OUTCOME OF INCIDENT: The victim was transported to McLaren E.R. by Star EMS for treatment. This is the 8th save by OCSO Deputies with Narcan since March of this year.
VICTIM INFORMATION: -30 year old male Pontiac resident.
