SUNDAY JUNE 21, 2015 CITY OF PONTIAC
The Crash Reconstruction Unit is assisting deputies from the Pontiac Substation with the investigation of a serious injury crash on North Perry at Parkwood Avenue at 4:12 a.m. A 25 year old resident of Commerce Township was backing a 2015 Kenworth truck with a tanker trailer containingRed Door Realty Ad _own_your_dream 7,400 gallons of fuel out of the parking lot of the Mobil gas station at 1144 North Perry onto North Perry when it was hit by a northbound vehicle.
The northbound vehicle, a 2007 Mazda 6, was operated by 31 year old female resident of Pontiac. The driver was extricated from the vehicle, transported to McLaren Oakland in Pontiac by Star EMS and is in critically-stable condition. The passenger of the Mazda, a 36 year old male, address unknown, was also transported to McLaren Oakland in Pontiac by Star EMS and is in stable condition. The driver of the fuel truck was uninjured.

Alcohol use by the Mazda driver is believed to be a factor in this crash, which remains under investigation. A search warrant for blood was obtained for the Mazda driver and results are pending.
