(Suburban Collection Press Release, June 16, 2015)
Cynthia Krencicki has been selected as Teacher of the Year for Ferndale Public Schools.
Mrs. Krencicki, a 2nd Grade teacher at Roosevelt Primary School, was recognized for her excellence at a year-end awards ceremony today held at Ferndale High School.
“Mrs. Krencicki has been an integral part of our family for more than 20 years. She is the true definition of a continual learner and a teacher leader; valued, respected, and trusted by students, colleagues, and parents. Her positive intent in everything she does has made a difference to our Ferndale community in more ways than can possibly be written, and will always be felt in the lives of her students”, said Ferndale Schools’ Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction Mrs. Dina Rocheleau.
Adding to this honor, The Suburban Collection is awarding Mrs. Krencicki with a vehicle lease.
“Outstanding educators like Cynthia Krencicki are so important to our community and deserve to be recognized and rewarded,” said David Fischer, Jr., General Manager of The Suburban Collection. “Our program of donating a vehicle lease expresses our thanks to the top teachers in the communities where we do business.”
In addition to Ferndale, The Suburban Collection is awarding vehicle leases to “Teachers of the Year” in eight additional communities in Southeastern Michigan where they do business. These school systems include: Birmingham, Clarkston, Clinton, Farmington Hills, Novi, Sterling Heights/Utica, Troy and Waterford. They are also awarding a vehicle lease to the top educator at Cranbrook Schools in Bloomfield Hills.
