Oak Park Man Sought in Questions Over Up North Assault Involving Firearm

Sheriff’s in Grand Traverse County have put out the following statement on Facebook to help find Josh Mcclellan:
On June 14th at approx. 9pm, Deputies from the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Garfield Township for a call of a Felonious Assault involving a firearm.
Information gathered at the scene indicates at this time a 21 year old Traverse City man and a 23 year old Oak Park man got into a physical altercation. The 23 year old Oak Park man produced a rifle in which the rifle discharged during a continued physical altercation.
No one was injured and the 23 year old Oak Park man possibly dropped the rifle or it was taken away from him and the 23 year old Oak Park man fled the scene.
The incident is currently under investigation. The 23 year old Oak Park man has been identified as Josh Michael Mcclellan. Mcclellan is approx. 6 feet tall and wearing unknown clothing.
The Sheriff’s Office is looking to speak to Mcclellan and gather a statement from him as to his description of the incident on June 14th.
