Driver Hits Multiple Vehicles, 
Flips Car, On Academy in Ferndale

At about four in the morning Monday an out of control driver hit multiple vehicles on Academy Street in Ferndale just west of Hilton. Witnesses say the driver, a male who appeared to be 
in his teens and possibly intoxicated, flipped his vehicle over and was pulled out by a resident on that street before being taken to the hospital.
Ferndale Police Lt. William Wilson could not confirm the details of the accident because it is still under investigation.
He did state that one person was taken to the hospital with injuries and there were multiple cars damaged including the one that had flipped. No arrests and charges have been made at this time, Lt. Wilson said. He said it could be up to a few weeks before the investigation is complete.
