Berkley Girls in Court Over
Plotting Assault at Anderson Middle School

Two teenagers from Anderson Middle School in Berkley appeared before Judge Cheryl Matthews on Monday, accused of plotting to bring guns to school and murder students and teachers. WDIV reports that the girls, age 13 and 14, have been in juvenile lock up since May 23, and they may have a chance to post bond this weekend. Assistant County Prosecutor Hage Betsey told the Judge that the girls had detailed plans including diagrams and hit lists. WDIV reports the teens will be released this weekend on $10,000 bond and on the condition of house arrest.
