Narcan Used to Revive Passenger in Suspected Heroin-Related Crash

INCIDENT: 11:10 hrs. –May 18, 2015– City of Pontiac – Property Damage Accident / Operating While in the Presence of Drugs (OWPD) / Narcan Administered #15-74954
SUMMARY: Deputies responded to the intersection of Perry and Giddings for a traffic crash. When they arrived they found the occupants of vehicle that had caused the rear end crash to be unconscious. Narcotic paraphernalia for heroin use had been located inside the vehicle. The driver soon regained consciousness. The passenger remained unresponsive and deputies administered Narcan. The Narcan was successful in reviving the passenger. The passenger was transported to McLaren Oakland Hospital for further treatment. The driver was arrested under suspicion of OWPD and lodged at OCJ.
